“Like Nature, my art is always evolving and ever-changing.”

Aloha from beautiful Upcountry Maui!

The artistry of the Natural World inspires me to celebrate beauty by creating art.

In my textile designs, I combine traditional binding and folding techniques of Shibori resist dyeing with contemporary techniques.

Printmaking begins with carving, etching, or adding layers to print plates. A print plate can be wood, metal, or Plexi. Ink is applied to the plate and the image is transferred with a printing press or by hand. Unveiling a fabric or pulling a print brings a moment of anticipation then surrender...hopefully followed by surprise, reflection, and delight.
